Seems Fun so Far,

The rock beat rhythm sticks seem to be just as fun as anticipated. They work and my children seem to enjoy them.
Unfortunately, this company, Music For Little People does not provide good customer service. They sent the incorrect item first. Then when they were contacted they wouldn't ship out the correct item until they got the first item back. In the mean time the birthday party I ordered these toys for has come and gone. I ordered these over four weeks ago and just recieved them. If you want a fun toy these might be a treat.

We got one set of these and within a few days one quit working correctly. I figured we just had a bad one and the manufacturer quickly sent us a whole new set. Within 10 minutes a stick quit working. What are the odds that we'd get two bad sets?
Aside from that...the sticks are noisy and there's no volume button. Tolerable, but we have quieter toys. The music is synthesized, not a big deal, just rather hear loud "real" music. Between 4 stick we have 2 functioning sticks. The two that work we like, but the kids only play with them for just a little while at a time and then move on to something else.

I bought these sticks for my daughter for Easter, and while they don't exactly sound like a drum, they have a electronic sound. I thought then oh. duh, they are electronic. She loves them, they light up as you smack them, they have an on/off switch, they make different sounds with the touch of the button and they play this rhythm to beat along to. They only con I can see is they cannot have their volume turned up or down(preferably down). She mostly plays with them in the basement so it's all good.
Overall I would say these hit big on the fun scale.

While I certainly didn't expect these drum sticks to be whisper-quiet, I found them to be quite loud for little kids' ears. And there was no volume control. Also, I was hoping for a more authentic drum sound that I have found in other toys. I returned them.

Rock Beat Rythm Sticks,

My son (6 yrs old)loves these drum sticks. I love them because they have an on off switch. Great value for your dollar. They are noisey, but they are drum sticks. No wires attaching the sticks. They use batteries. They seem very durable. They also have a button to change the sound ex: cymbals and a button to hear a beat while you play.

My 5-year-old son is having a great time with his rhythm sticks. It would be nice if we could change songs now and then when he opts for the built-in tune but he's having so much fun that I won't complain about that. He beats on the floor, the coffee table, the couch . . . I draw the line at our freshly painted walls and anything breakable.

Nice way to see if your child really wants a whole drum set,

My husband and I had gotten these for our 5 yr. old daughter who desperately wanted a drum set. She loved them! The only thing she had a little difficulty with was holding the upper or lower buttons to change the drum sounds while drumming at the same time. Our 2 yr. old loved them as well.

My kids use these durable sticks all over the house and have a ball. I am even thinking of ordering more so each child has their own. The pluses-the ends light up when hit and they work whether the tips or handles are tapped. The drawbacks-no volume control and no music choices.

The Rhythm sticks were fun for about 10 minutes. It is the middle of January and they have not been touched since Christmas Day. My children are 8 and 5.
