Well done Mr Cotillion and Rhino for a quality item! Much, much better SOUND quality than that of the first offering. The packaging with the deluxe booklet...great stuff! As a result I have just purchased the first Woodstock 40th anniversary album. It is money well spent!

5.0 out of 5 stars Woodstock Two is #1, October 21, 2010

One of my fav recording of all times. Great sound from the remastering, but make sure you get the latest 2009 edition. Although eclipsed by the 1rst Woodstock release, this one offers a whole side of Hendrix (with a searing progressive "jam back at the house'and the ominous "Hear my Train"- Jefferson Airplane in top shape with a breath-taking "Eskimo Blue Day", a really fun Woodstock boogie by Canned Heat, and the quintessential Big Boss blues shuffle by PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES Band with no one but the staggering youngster Buzz Feiten blowing one masterful solo after one another, untopped to this day. That take alone is worth the price of admission. Mountain is massive, yet very lyrical in "Theme for an imaginary Western" (though not from woodstock!. but it does not matter because this take is much better than the one they did at the Woodstock Festival)

So well worth you $..don't let the grumps tell you otherwise and crank it up!

(for these nostalgics 1969 teens, I'd suggest "Sugar, Sugar" by The Archies) Peace out.

I LOOOOOOVE this item!

I remember having it on vinyl back in the 80's but then my record player went broke and I somehow i haven't had the chance to get it earlier! But the best this is, that the quality is much better on CD!
