5.0 out of 5 stars Pacheco Paints Pictures With His Words June 20, 1999
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
I recently returned from Woodstock and put on Tom Pacheco's CD, Woodstock Winter. In the opening song he captures the geography, the feel and the essence of the place. I have long been a fan since I wore out the album "Pacheco and Alexander." Thanks Tom for the CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Folk hero September 21, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Tom Pacheco is a true American singer/songwriter. The album isn't glitzy, it just tells it like it is. Being backed by The Band makes this one of the better Pacheco albums. "Hills of Woodstock" accurately describes Woodstock of the time. "The Sacred" is for all those yearning to escape the grind and be free. "Real Americans" is dark but accurate. Great album from an often overlooked folk troubador of the finest American tradition.
