The Woodworking Companion is an encyclopedia of woodworking on CD-ROM. This multimedia title contains more than 350 high quality color images and photographs, over 300 pages of text and many utility programs (such as wood shrinkage calculations, wood identification, wood search by properties, etc.).
The Woodworking Companion provides access to a massive amount of information on a wide range of woodworking topics such as: wood, tools, techniques, safety, shop math, project design, wood joints, gluing and clamping, making curved shapes, applying a finish, and much, much more.
The Woodworking Companion works on IBM Compatible 386 or higher. The CD-ROM contains both 16- et 32-bits versions of each of the programs (for compatibility with both WINDOWS 3.1x, 95 or 98).
