The whole family loves this CD!, October 25, 1998

We have played this for our 2 year old son since he was a few months old. We all got hooked on the catch lyrics, even his nanny, and find ourselves singing the songs throughout the day. We have purchased it for any of our friends who have had a child, so that they could enjoy it, too. It is wholesome, folksy fun. Try NOT to smile when you listen to it!

Never grows old...., September 16, 2010

Woody Guthrie's muse is ideally suited for kids. He made various recordings of these children's songs over the years, but they have never sounded better than this version, created by his son Arlo and various cousins and grandchildren. I've lived with these performances through two sets of children--two girls now in college, and two three-year-old twins--and never grow tired of them. The arrangements are clever and well-recorded, and the vocal performances relaxed and natural. Highly recommended.
