The patterns and photos in this book are superb! This is one of the best rug hooking books I've ever had. The patterns are plentiful and EXCELLENT. I highly recommend this book to primitive rug hookers -- and to just anyone who loves folk art. This book is a wonderful treasure to peruse over and over again. It became my favorite book in my rug hooking library the minute I got my hands on it.

Hooking fun!,
This review is from: Woolley Fox American Folk Art Rug Hooking (Paperback)
I just love this book! It starts with the basics of how to hook a rug, but then it also has some great patterns and instructions for projects. Each project has a level of difficulty assigned and there are several designs by Warren Kimble and Carol Endres! Excellent!

Great book,
This review is from: Woolley Fox American Folk Art Rug Hooking (Paperback)
Very nice book with great primitive designs. I wish the patterns were full size. A lot of space dedicated to the beginner rug hooker but it is good for review. Nice illustrations and skill level ranking for each project.

I love Barb's book on rug hooking. It really covers all aspects of the art from start to finish and is geared to novices and those with more experience. I also love Barb's designs-- primitive yet colorful and fun! I have recommended this book to friends, who are just starting out in this craft. Thanks, Barb, for all you do to promote the art of rug hooking!
