I bought this robe for my wife as a Christmas gift. She hasn't stopped wearing it. She says it keeps her warm and it is comfortable. It was a perfect gift as now I can turn the heat down.

My wife and I both bought these robes. She is always cold, and it keeps her very warm. The great thing is not only the warmth, but the length. I HATE robes that are knee length and these are long; my wife's is to her ankles and mine is lower calf...very nice. The colors are more muted than on the photos here...we got the two that are the most subtle. I know the price is high, but it is worth it if you like warm comfort.

I would never recommend this item to any female. Unless they sent me the wrong garment, this item cannot possibly fit a female. I purchased a size "medium", which actually was a S/M. The waist was hip-length, suitable for the way a man wears his clothing, with his belt or tie around his hips, not his true waist (like they did in the 40's). The bottom part of the robe was very, very narrow compared to the top. To wrap bottom part of the robe around my body made the pockets bulge. Speaking of pockets, they were so low I could hardly get my hands in them. Note: if the waist is around the hips, of course the pockets have to be mid-thigh. The upper body was very large and comfortably loose. The arm length was ample, long enough to cover the arms as they reach for the mid-thigh-high pockets. It is a man's robe, not a woman's. I'm very disappointed--and still cold.

Since I've received this Woolrich fleece robe, I've hardly taken it off ... really. It's toasty, comfortable, and the right length to keep your legs warm. I had to leave it at home for a few days (too plush to fit into the suitcase), and I think I had withdrawal symptoms without it.
