I found this slipper/shoe when researching possibilities for managing my plantar faciaitis. The Doc says no more flimsy house shoes and no bare feet even in the house. These are much more substantial that I expected and will easily travel outside to walk the dog and even to go shopping. They are great and the price is fantastic.

These are SO comfortable they feel like slippers, but look amazing with everything from slacks to skirts and even my cute summer dresses. The only down side is I wear them so much & they make my feet sweat more than usual, so they can get a little smelly ... but maybe that's just me & my own stinky feet problem! Other than that, a VERY good buy!

Using as shoes, not slippers,

I didn't realize these were slippers when I bought them. I can wear them as regular shoes. They are similar to crocks. The only concern I have, is that there is a ridge inside at the tip of the shoe where your toes are. It is a poor shoe design, because your toenail can get caught on that ridge and be separated from the nail bed. The price is right and I'm keeping them anyway. Hopefully I can smooth down that ridge somehow.

These shoes didn't have any cushion in the sole--not comfortable at all. They were short for the stated size.
