Product Description

Product Description

A great tool with specially treated material that attracts and holds dust for powerful, long lasting pickup. The unique triangular shape is designed to cover large surfaces and reach into corners. Features a double action pivot for full surface contact. May use with standard threaded extension poles, including Sherlock GT.

From the Manufacturer

The Dust Eater has specially treated yarn, double-sewn into a flexible vinyl backing, to gobble up dust, cobwebs, pet hair, and debris on walls, ceilings, baseboards, and floors. Its distinct triangular shape quickly covers large surfaces and still reaches into corners. It has a stable 360-degree pivot for full surface contact and won't gouge or flip over. When the job is done, simply shake out the Dust Eater in a garbage bag or outdoors, no wetting or washing required. Great partner for the 1801 Wooster AeroSander. For more information from the manufacturer, visit www.woosterbrush.com/Company/ArchivedNews/DustEater. The Wooster Brush Company has been manufacturing innovative, high-performance painting products right out of Wooster, Ohio USA since 1851. You can feel confident knowing Wooster is the name behind your tools.

I am a painting contractor and I just bought my second one of these Dust Eaters. We generally vacuum new drywall before priming, but this is more effective and a lot faster, although it does make more of a mess. we always vacuum the floor before spraying anyways, so this isn't really adding a step.
Also, we pole sand existing paint on walls and ceilings before re-coating, and this is the best tool for that application. It can eat all of the dust from the pole sanding. It moves quite well over ceilings and walls.
Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

I'm a drywall contractor who does mostly homeowner work. The Dust Eater is the best way I've found to prep for priming walls and ceilings after sanding drywall. There's a lot more dust stuck to the walls than you would think, and the Dust Eater makes very quick work of it. The triangular design makes it perfect for getting all the way into the corners.

It does need a quick clean with a shop-vac (or take it outside and smack it a few times) every few rooms or so, but it's not like it's solid white with dust or anything. Just a quick "refreshing" and it's right back to dusting.

I use this without fail on every job I finish now. It's about as important as my drill is for mixing mud. It's like having Chewbacca on a stick (Yes, I call mine "Chewy"). Great product!

it did pretty well at picking up the mud from drywall dust. some spots needed 2 runs but most of the dust was picked up.

This is exactly what I was looking for to clean up all of the drywall dust I was struggling to deal with. My vacuum filter just clogged after 5 minutes and sweeping this stuff out left me unable to see or breathe. Thanks Wooster! The Dust Eater ate the dust and kept on going.
