5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
I have been through the utter frustration of having roller covers slip and having to reposition them before every re-load. So I got this Wooster Sherlock roller frame and... it REALLY WORKS!!! I can go as fast as I want for as long as I want on the wall, in any direction and the roller cover just stays on, like it should. This is a truly operational painting tool and...

This is a truly operational painting tool and has saved me immense amounts of time and temper.
Getting the roller cover off for cleaning, well, with me, that has always been a problem but no more, just a light tap on the sink and it's done. Honestly this is the ideal scene for a roller frame.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wooster Roller Frames are the Best on the market., November 9, 2004

I'm an apprentice house-painter, and the Wooster is my Roller Frame of choice. The handle is comfortable even for my large hands, the hardware is solid and extremely easy to clean up. The Roller itself is smooth, and has never gotten stuck, nor has the roller pad slipped off of the frame.

If you take care of this frame, it can last quite a long time.

This roller frame was just what my painting job needed. The paint went on smoothly and was very easy to get the roller cover off when done.

When used with a Sherlock adjustable pole, the Sherlock paint roller locks in place on the pole. As a result, the paint roller no longer twists off a screw on pole connection. I used to find that extremely frustrating when the roller would come loose while I was painting...

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't hold paint, July 18, 2011
This review is from: Wooster Brush R017-9 Sherlock Roller Frame, 9-Inch (Tools & Home Improvement)
I purchased my new home and attempted to paint my entire house. I purchased a set of these rollers and tried my best to paint. I do not understand for the life of me why ANYONE would paint with an item that has holes in the middle. I dipped it into the tray and the paint fell through the holes. I splashed some paint with a cup onto the wall and used the roller again - the wall got all cut up. Now I'm living in a home with paint splashed everywhere and metal tracks riding up and down my walls. Don't waste your money.
