We've bought two copies of this book -- one, for ourselves and one for a relative. We recommend it to all our friends, even those who are quite proficient in using WORD. One learns things that one didn't even know are offered in this software and the helpful suggestions can make writing so much easier, whether for business or for fun.

I was pleased that this was sent quickly. I've enjoyed looking for a way to create an index for a publication.

I bought one book new and another one used. Both were in excellent condition. The used book came in a time manner too.

I knew when I ordered this book that it was used and I expected it to have some wear and tear. What I didn't expect was that it came with library stickers and printing all over it. It just would have been nice to know as it's not for myself. Other than that, it's a really good book and is great for people who want to know how to do more than just type and change fonts in Word 2002. It would be good as a reference for other versions of Word, up to 2007. Word 2007 is vastly different - it's taking me some time to relearn things that used to be second nature - but the point is, if you have Word 2007, this isn't like a textbook in that you can't get an older version to save money and expect only a few things to be different.
