A handy manual of how-tos, on a wide range of topics,and in a useful visual format that makes the steps easy to follow without too much verbage. While it's unlikely you'll use every suggestion in the book, there's bound to be a couple of tips that will make life with Word a little less frustrating, and that is worth the purchase price, in my opinion. The format is friendly enough that you'll probably end up browsing beyond the section you were looking for, even after you've found the one trick you were seeking.

Sometimes I need targeted help that I can't find in the on-line help system in Word. This book allows me (and works me through it) to get to the specific item I want.

This is an excellent reference book. There are a lot of Microsoft tips and tricks books out there, but this one is a very simplified one. By simplified I mean it's not complex. It is easy to find the information and the information is explained very well. I have used several of the tips to expedite my work, and I was considered well above average for this software application before purchasing this book. I highly recommend it for those looking for useful tips and tricks for this application.
