As a new first grade teacher, I found this book invaluable.
The lessons are step by step, easy to follow, and correspond to key grade level objectives and standards. It was fabulous how the author relates to the real world of the classroom, and how she "gets" it! So many books are theory. . ..but not this one! This book is relevant, real life, and really helpful! If I could give it ten stars instead of five, I would! :)) By the way, another bonus for these lessons are that they are FUN for the kids, and easy to prep for the teacher, and most of all, they accomplish the learning that needs to happen!!!!!!!!! |
