In this fresh and thorough New King James Version of the Bible, the information and viewpoints concerning scriptures of the New Testament and of the geography and the times they were written about are clear and provocative. My desire to learn more about the Bible, Jesus, and God's will for my life have increased immensely due to the clarity and simplicity of this study tool. I especially appreciate the suggestions in the sidebars as to what lessons were possibly intended in various parables and other such vague deliveries of the Word. For me, it has taken reading of the Bible from study to recreation and pleasure.

This is a wonderful book! I'm currently studying the Bible and I can not put this book down! I wish I had an Old Testament version too.

I have dozens of bibles. And, I love study bibles. Even though The Word in Life study is out of print; it is without question one of the best and most complete study bible in my collections. I have focused commentaries which are unable to the same level of clarity.

So, when my Marine son wanted a reference bible... I looked at the new Archaeological Study Bible and found it lacking by comparison. I then sought for a copy of the Word in Life. As an out of print version; there were limited choices and I selected a New Testament only edition, but he was very happy.
