This is a nice supplement to any etymology program you might be studying. It has 3 word games for each section so there is not much variety. So far my 9 yr old has done 3 sections and likes it. By the end of the 30 or so sections he may be bored with the lack of variety. I use it in conjunction with other things like English from the Roots Up flash cards and a few free online games. The pro is that you are "building" your small village instead of just looking at a workbook or flash cards; the con is lack of variety in the games, very repetitive.

My middle school aged twins tell me they are enjoying this program. They've also impressed me lately by using some more difficult words in their vocabulary, so it seems to be working. I like that it's one part of our home school that can pretty much be done without mom.
