I six year old loves this!
My six year old loves going over the material in this book with me and using her newfound knowledge in day to day life, pointing out Latin root words. What a wonderful resource.

not what I thought
It's a fill in workbook. I was looking for more of a fun easy to read reference guide to root words ... the whys and hows. I didn't read up about this enough! I gave it 3 stars because it might be ok, I haven't given it much of a chance yet.

Bought this for my 10 year-old daughter for Christmas as she enjoys reading and discovering their meanings. haven't completed anything as of yet, but it looks very thorough. Would recommend for a bit older child, however. It appears a bit intimidating for her.
