What a great sound with the sousaphone laying down such a cool baseline and driving the band and creating a unique new sound. What energy. Great work guys, can't wait for the next CD. Who is that guy on sousaphone?

The Next Movement - for real!,

I caught these cats in Chicago at the Elbow room, and they were rockin so hard the rafters were coming down. I've never seen a group - hiphop, funk, whatever - put out this much energy, and come with such a new sound. YoungBlood is going to bring it back to the real party. Keep doing it guys, the whole world got your back.

THE BEST BAND....EVER.,

I saw YB at Broadway Oyster Bar in St.Louis right before Mardi Gras. I don't think the crowd really understood the virtuosity these guys play with. I haven't been this excited about a group since I first saw Greyboy All-Stars...and YB definitely gives them a run for their money. Buy this disc, and get to a show now!

This cd is so excting and addicting, it's hard to let it leave my cd player. I've had it for two days and several of my freinds have already asked me for a copy and they are just as excited as I am. Being a trombone player i appreciate what is needed to make this kind of music and it is done in such great musicianship that i am surprissed i have not heard them before. If you have any interest in music at all there should be no reason for you not to buy this cd, it is just plain awsome.

Innovative Urban Fusion Artists, this stuff is amazing.,

Take phat hiphop beatz and mix 'em over high heat with soul-filled improvizational jazz and one highly skilled MC. Two smoking live sets later you got a room full of Young Blood Brass Band Fanz. Unlearn is Fusion taken in a new and exciting direction. These guys put hiphop and jazz (two distinctly American musical styles) together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. The result is what will be a classic for years to come. Party People in the house will unite with stuff like this.
