This lock works great and is easy to set your own word combination. The qualty of the lock is great, but the plastic holder that mounts to the set post and hold the lock is flmsy plastic and broke within a week. I fxed it with a hose clamp and it seems to work ok now. Great lock though for lower crime areas.

Purchased this product for my daughters bicycle lock. It works fine for her and have had no problems with it. Did notice that the cable is not that big. For an expensive bike I would reccomend getting a heavier duty cable/lock as it looks like it could be cut by bolt cutters pretty easily. For my daughters bike it works great. Dont think anyone would want to go to that much trouble to steal it.

Obviously a small cable lock is not as secure as fort knox, but this is a nice little cable lock. We purchased it to carry on our stroller and have used it several times. I wasn't really thinking and assumed we would be able to spell any 4 letter word, which isn't the case as each real has a set of letters. However, we were able to spell on of our top 3 choices for a combination easily. Setting the word was pretty simple. The cable is long enough for us to adequately wrap around the stroller wheels and any of the fixed objects we have chosen to secure the stroller too.

I got these as Christmas presents for 6 family members, including myself. I like the longer cable - 5 feet - making it easier to use. It has a nice attachment that you can hook it to your bike for easy "on/off".

The color is WAY more of a flouresent pink then pictured. And I don't think that there's quite as many as lock combinations as listed. It also says on the packaging to vist their website for sample words. I did and there was'nt any. But, overall it does serve it's purpose as a decent bike lock.
