This word lock is the best thing I've seen yet! It works! All you need do is choose a four letter word out of about 10,000, and bingo! The lock locks, and all you have to do is to remember the word,not a long line of numbers. It is wonderful and perfect for travel, when one has so many things to keep track of anyway. Incredible!

The product is all it is cracked up to be. Secure, easy to set, easy to remember, easy to use and provides a recognizable marker for the luggage as it comes off the carousel.

I bought three of these locks to use on my luggage while travelling in Asia. They work well and are easy to set. They fit easily through the zippers on my luggage (Samsonite). My only complaint is that you cannot use any word you want as not all letters are represented on the dials. For instance, if you wanted to set the combination as "ROSE" there may not be an "O" on the second dial or an "E" on the fourth dial. These are easily accessed by the TSA at the airport should that become necessary. I had no problem with security in the US or abroad with these locks.

I purchased four Masterlock alpha locks and four Wordlock brand locks. Two of the four Wordlocks broke during an international flight, but the Masterlocks survived.

Cute idea to reduce a tiny bit the hassle of security at airports. TSA opened it and it still works fine. Nice twist on the old idea--easier to remember a four letter common word for some than four numbers. If that is you--you will like these.

Pick a word and co ordinate with all your luggage and family members. Also helps in recognizing luggage at the turnstile.

My family and I used these locks on a recent trip around the country. We all had the same code word which made using the locks very easy. They are TSA approved so when the TSA did go through my son's bag, the lock was not destroyed. The locks worked very well and I would highly recommend them.

I just received this lock today, and unlocked it using the default code easily, but then I cannot close it again....extremely strange! obviously it is useless if it can't be closed. The office is closed so I'll call tomorrow to ask the company about it (and filled out form online).

Good to have 4 letters to slow down thieves, who can spin the dials to find the combination. 4 dials will take them about 20 minutes. 3 dials take about 2 minutes.

Pink is a good color to stand out on a baggage carousel.

Paint scratched badly after one trip. After half a dozen trips the letters started wearing off, so c and o were not distinguishable, etc. So it became hard to find my combination to open it. Note that letters can scrape off while it is checked, so you may not find the combination you set that morning.

Excellent lock for luggage. Very simple and sturdy and TSA approved for travel. Would recommend to folks who don't want the hassle of keys. Drawback would be you have to remember the lock code you had made or you're screwed. Other than that, it does the job.
