5.0 out of 5 stars Challenging encouraging monologues anyone can use!, February 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Words Aptly Spoken (Paperback)
This book is full of monologues that will make you laugh, cry and empathize with those who are willing to take a stand for Jesus Christ. Each and every monologue written here can be used to motivate and challenge others into a deeper walk with their Lord.

4.0 out of 5 stars Paradox of our Time essay comes from this book, December 14, 2007
This review is from: Words Aptly Spoken (Paperback)
It is from this book that the often-forwarded essay "Paradox of our Time" originated. You know the one -- it begins, that starts out "The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints."

The essay is frequently attributed to George Carlin (of all people!) or to Jeff Dickson, but it is in fact Dr. Moorehead who penned this eloquent piece in 1990 and published it in this compilation a few years later.
