great book for corporations,

This review is from: The Words Can Heal Handbook: How Changing Your Words Can Transform Your Life and the Lives of Others (Paperback)
when I saw Goldie Hawn on TV talking about this book I went out and got a copy.As a retired executive from a prominent software company the battle with the rumor mill was demoralizing and unnecessarily time consuming. If I had the book at that time I would have purchased one for each employee and make it compulsory reading. The book deals with basic human emotions, but evokes many thoughts about our humanity.

If everyone read and followed the principles in this book, the world would be a much more pleasant place. The ideas are as old as the Golden Rule, but the anecdotes and illustrations make this a lively and practical guide. Read it and you'll find yourself thinking about it during everyday conversations -- it really works!

This review is from: The Words Can Heal Handbook: How Changing Your Words Can Transform Your Life and the Lives of Others (Paperback)
The Words Can Heal Handbook is one of those profound books that can change your life. When I think back on my experience with other people throughout my life I realize that I have used words that have had a devastating effect on some important people in my life. This book shows you how to control your words so that you only provide the people you love with good feelings about themselves and good feelings about you. By citing numerous examples the book shows you how you can use words to improve your relationships with your parents, your siblings, your spouse, your children, and your friends. It is a jewel of a behavior transforming guidebook.
