One can find wisdom in qoutes and thoughts. This is a boxed calendar, and typical of this format it offers a daily quote or thought from HH the Dali Lama. Much wisdom can be found in a simple quote or thought. Disappointing
I'm rather disappointed with this calendar. The "Words of Wisdom" are pretty bland. I hoped there'd be some inspirational thought or something like that, but it's rather boring.

I'm rather disappointed with this calendar. The "Words of Wisdom" are pretty bland. I hoped there'd be some inspirational thought or something like that, but it's rather boring.

Much wisdom can be found in a simple quote or thought. If you are looking for an indepth philosophical discussion or explication, a hand-holding step-by-step leading down the path to wisdom, the other reviewer is right, you'll be disappointed. Though I think he misses the point, he misses the depth of wisdom in these quotes and thoughts. Based on my experience with the 2003 calendar, I am buying the 2004 one.

Based on my purchase of the 2003 edition, I won't be buying this one. Having read a couple of his books, I expected something uplifting, inspiring, and at least a little bit "wise". Most days the Words of Wisdom are nothing of the sort. They are mostly just quotes or thoughts. Buy a book instead - at least you can preview that before buying.
