About the Author

Reverend Run entered the public eye in 1983 as Run, leader of the pioneering rap trio Run-DMC. Since then, his accomplishments include becoming president of Phatfarm Footwear, CEO of Run Athletics, and star of the top-rated MTV show Run's House. Recently, he released his first solo album, Distortion, on RSMG, and directed the video for his first single, "Mind on the Road." More important, he is a minister at Zoe Ministries, founded by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan in 1983. Run now spends the majority of his time at church and building the foundations of his family.

Scanning the self help section at a bookstore the other day, I came across this book. The title was was grabbed me "Words of Wisdom" which is exactly what I needed. Come to find out it's from Run DMC I thought I was seeing things but bought it anyway, after just reading 2 of his quotes inside. Rev Run in just 48 hours has brought questions to me that need to be thought about, and it's like an epiphany on every page. You will not be dissapointed and will find yourself telling others about it as well.

I love this book, along with all of Rev Runs other books! When he says "Words of Wisdom", he means just that! Very inspiring!

Rev Run did an awesome job with putting this daily guide together. He has biblical quotes that can really make a difference in your day. With that he gives a little explanation in regards to life and the quotes.
