5.0 out of 5 stars Find out about the people behind the books, October 13, 2000
This review is from: Wordsmiths of Wonder: Fifty Interviews With Writers of the P (Paperback)
Stan Nicholls has interviewed a huge number of Fantasy, Horror and Science Fiction writers from Clive Barker to Douglas Adams, from Ray Bradbury to Terry Pratchett. They talk about the genre they write in, about writing as such, about writers . . . if you are interested in writing, writers, or even just in Fantasy, Horror and Science Fiction, you will find things in this book you never even knew you wanted to know!

Find out what Douglas Adams has to say about writing funny - and how he agrees with Terry Pratchett about Science Fiction and Fantasy being first and foremost about perspective. Clive Barker talks about writing and directing, and how he feels about the two very different ways to tell a story. Ray Bradbury talks about film adaptations of his work . . .

I believe this is a very fascinating book, if you are at all interested in the people behind the books you read. You are not going to regret buying it.
