Planned a long weekend in New York, so needed a shoe that could be comfortable for walking yet a little dressy. While it probably would not be considered fancy, this was a winner in the comfort department and easily fit into a varied wardrobe from shorts to dresses. If you know anything about NYC, you walk A LOT! From walking to the hotel to Central Park to Broadway Theater to a nice restaurant, these were a gem. If you think they are going to look like Minolos, think again, but to me, comfort wins over the latest fad. No sore feet, no blisters guaranteed! P. S. other reviews are right, buy one size larger than usual. I have small feet and usually wear a 7, but the 8 was perfect!

I bought these shoes after reading all the great reviews, but I had awful luck with them. After about a month, the cork heel wore down and I'll now have to pay to get them resoled. They also rubbed horrible blisters on the top of my feet and I had to buy moleskin and coat the inside of the leather to stop my feet from bleeding.

They're cute, but paying even more money to pad them and have them resoled, makes these shoes not worth it!

These shoes are so light and comfy, perfect for when you need to walk a lot. But mine lasted less than a season before the cork and sole wore out. Not a good value for the price. If I can find them for thirty five bucks or less I'd re-buy them in a heartbeat. But for their actual price they are not durable at all.
