This wonderful book outlines the ancient Egyptian calendar which predates what we know as astrology. Fastinating insights into the religion, philosophy and everyday lives of an ancient people. The two authors, Wheeler and Pierce translated the papyri text to help modern readers use the calender on a daily basis much as you would as astrological chart. Solid, well written and utterly fascinating. I highly recommend it.
