Book Description

Do You want to Work Smarter, Master Your Day, Beat Procrastination and Enjoy Your Life?

Are you working from home or do you intend to work from home? With the advancing technology that makes the world a global village, there is a lot of hype about being able to work from the inside of your own four walls

Did you know that it's even scientifically proven that working from home can make you more productive? Studies even show that you'll be 50% happier with your job when you work from home!

Yes, working from home can give you freedom to spend more time to be with your family and friends, and you simply aren’t limited to working in a fixed location. All you need is a good internet connection, a computer and a good cup of coffee (optional) and you can get started.

But is it really that easy?

Well, sorry to disappoint you, but it is definitely not that easy. Working from home isn’t the polished fantasy we’re told sometimes. If you do it right, however, you are in for a good time.

Working from home isn't about giving you the freedom not to do what is expected of you; it is about being efficient and effective in what you do.

I've been working from home full-time for more than six years now, running my own successful business for the same amount of time, and it took me a long time to accept the fact that structure and specified work routines aren't the killer of my oh-so-beloved entrepreneurial freedom. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

I worked all day long, watching my friends and former colleagues go out and having a good time. Did they call me? Sure. But, you know, I had to work... at 7pm... Monday till Sunday, of course.

Sound familiar?

It doesn't have to be like that.

Of course not. And that's what you'll learn in this book.

  • Learn how to start of your day right so that you will have energy all day long.
  • Learn why a bit of structure is certainly not your enemy, and discover why it's nothing short of the exact opposite.
  • Learn how to be more productive during the daily mess of your work-at-home everyday life.
  • And while we're at it: Learn how to work smarter, not harder.
  • And much more!

  • Working from home is a battle for mastery with yourself. You better start winning this battle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great insights for working at home July 23, 2014
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For those who are thinking about working from home or are finding challenges with working from home, this book is for you.

The first part gives valid reasons: you will be happier, be more efficient, be more productive, have control over your schedule, have more time to spend with family, spend no time in traffic.

That last part about traffic caught my attention. Having spent an hour each way to work everyday, just by eliminating that has increased my valuable waking time by 14%. Assuming I use that extra time for work, my productivity is increased by 25%.

Of course, there are also disadvantages such as missing the camaraderie that comes from working with peers, home distractions and easily getting overworked. This book gives some strategies to deal with these unique problems.

I found this book was a great resource.
