I loved this book. This is freedom!

I have held a few jobs in my time. For such a relatively short life, I've had experience in quite a few different industries. I couldn't afford college after high school; this was becoming apparent around 5th grade. I started working with friends in the janitorial and construction genre at age 12 in my spare time. I...

I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell, I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore! Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore! Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it: I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" "Work From Home At Any age," by J J Luna makes me feel like doing just that. I purchased this book, based on the four 5 star reviews touting this to be one of the best books of its kind since the beginning of the written word. Some of the reviews were quite eloquent. Perhaps if the reviewers had written the book, instead of J J Luna, it might have contained some substance. As it stands, it is nothing more than common sense knowledge that anyone over the age of 12 would already be well aware of. If not, everything in the book could be readily accessible on the Internet or at your local library. "Work From Home At Any Age," author, J J Luna says to "find a niche, exploit it, and make good money." He has certainly followed his own advice by writing this book. The author is wealthy by over charging for a product that could be summarized in the form of a brief pamphlet. Don't believe the 5 star reviews you read on Amazon touting this book as a treasured masterpiece. The author is a great businessman and has undoubtedly given away free copies of this book in order to receive the 5 star ratings. Since I actually bought "Work At Home At Any Age," and read the entire contents in less than two hours, I can say without hesitation that it deserves the lowest rating possible on the Amazon scale. There is one good thing about the book, however. It seemingly weighs less than air, so when you return it to the seller you purchased it from, your postage costs will be quite low.

I washed the neighbors' cars and cut their grass. Later I detailed cars and canvassed older neighborhoods for a general contractor who was offering remodeling services. By that time I was 20 and the majority of the adults I spoke to asked where I was going to school, listened to my most recent story of employment, shook their head and murmured, "What a waste..."

I attended a trade school. Later I found a niche and now I work for myself and earn a very prosperous living.

College didn't appeal to me. Anybody can read a list of books on a schedule and write an essay about what they learned and how it affects them. I'm not up to my eyeballs in education loan debt. College graduates hand ME a resume and a CV about once a month. I'm not taking on employees though. What a waste indeed!

JJ Luna's book "Work From Home At Any Age" describes the failure of the education system, the folly of living for inanimate objects and fancy things. The book offers a plan, a path to success in life not measured by the number of toys you acquire or labeled by your tax bracket.

He asks questions designed to make you decide for yourself what is important in your life. He encourages you to think for yourself. We have freedom to choose so many things for ourselves in the western world. Why be mashed into a mold by the faceless drab and boring state? Department of Education? Please. I know people - Adults - who can't tell me who won; the North or the South.

Mr. Luna doesn't sell you a packet of forms and certificates and call you a "team member" or induce you to join a pyramid. You don't have to recruit your family or friends and make them your "down-line" cells. There are no group meetings or audiotapes to buy.

To make a living - a really, really good living - no matter where you are geographically located, all you have to do is define success for yourself, find a niche market and budget your resources correctly.

As an old timer who has seen a lot, asked questions, and found the answers, JJ Luna provides his readers the motivation to mature, get away from your pushy boss and back-stabbing co-workers. Take time for yourself and learn to be happy in your life.

By following his advice, your health, family and future can be improved and enjoyed. No, really!

Get this book. Buy a box of 'em! Get as many people as you can to sit down and read it. *Especially young people.* It may not sink in now, but when it does, they will save years of their lives and tens of thousands of dollars when they skip college, learn a trade or create a niche, and run their own lives.

JJ Luna has managed to surpass his popular "How to be Invisible" book with "Work From Home At Any Age". I have been reading his material for quite sometime and I am still amazed at how well he has managed to take a difficult topic, such as how to work from home, and simplify it so that it can be read quickly in a night. I have ordered multiple copies of his book and am handing them out to high-school and college students as gifts for the holidays. So many of my friends that I have lended the book to have been amazed at accurate the information is and how much they wish that such a guide were made available to them when they were younger. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to simplify their life and make a change for the better.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Work From Home At Any Age: A Self-made Millionaire Reveals How You Can Create the Debt-free Business of Your Dreams From Scratch
This book is different from most other career books I have read. Most others are either about a specific field or about how to write your resume, etc. These are great if you already have a good idea about what you want to do or if you don't even know which field interests you, or if you want to pursue self-employment, then you will find this book will be a HUGE help. I know I did, and it has certainly changed my life for the better.

Work From Home is better than your average career book because it not going to send you down any particular career path, but it will get your creative juices flowing in terms of the opportunities available wherever you may be located, using whatever skills you have. It is more supportive of self-employment than other books I have read, and to me, this is a positive. If you are looking for a regular, 9-to-5 job, then this probably is not the book for you, but if you are looking for ideas on how to get started on self-employment, then this book is for you.

Throughout Work From Home, Mr. Luna describes how he was able to CREATE job opportunities when other people thought there were none available. I won't go into the details here, but he has done this many times throughout his life and has successfully been able to make a comfortable living this in remote areas and foreign countries. This book contains the 40+ years of lessons he has learned. His experiences have opened my eyes to opportunities that were literally around the corner but I didn't even realize existed. Granted, some of the ideas in it may seem simplistic or obvious to some people, particularly those who are older or more settled into their careers, but for someone young and who is undecided, like I was, these ideas can be life changing and I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is in high school or college aged.

This is the logical follow-up to the author's bestselling book on privacy, "How to be Invisible," because when you are employed by someone else, it is impossible to be invisible. However, he goes beyond self-employment, with words of wisdom about simplicity, solitude, education, and choosing a star to steer by. This book makes a great gift for high school graduates!

This was a great read. The authors description of the book as everything you need to know without the fluff is accurate. I have been on a quest of self employment (and job fulfillment) for a dozen or so years now. Although I am skilled at my trade(s) I've lacked the confidence to step out and reach for my dreams. Perhaps reading the book came at the right time or created the right time I'm not sure. At least the hunger in me is growing to dare great things. I actually read the book through in about six hours. I plan to go through it a couple more times, highlight and memorize the steps needed to make it a reality. Several years ago I took up flying. It was thrilling (sometimes very much so) and very satisfying. I really felt like I was on top of the world. Flying is hard if you are into extreme performance (read real bush flying) and seek to excel at your craft. There is no way I could have done it without quality instruction. The real learning came after I received my license (read very close calls a few times). I like to push the envelope and be the best I can be. Flying, Skiing, Sailing, Etc. My passion is to exist in total abandonment in the pursuit of excellence. My hunger is to do this in self employment and the execution of the actions I need to pursue. To be honest, I wish I had the author beside me to (babysit) er guide me through the ignorance of the unknown. Many are called but few are chosen. I think this applies here as well. Until you hunger for it enough you will sit in your nice warm cocoon and do nothing. If you are ready to trade security (warm cage) for fulfillment and freedom, this book will inspire you.

Fred H.
