2.0 out of 5 stars A poor choice
This book is showing its age, especially when 'identifying problems'. The profile of an at-risk person relies on evidence that is shaky at best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Informative, May 13, 2000
This review is from: Work Rage: Identify the Problems, Implement the Solutions (Paperback)
I am Vice President of the Canadian Union of Transportation Employees Local 1 and upon hearing about this book through an interview of the author on the CBC radio; I immediately ordered myself a copy. I thought that it might lend insight into some of the conditions faced by our members and myself at our place of employment. I was correct in my assumption and the parities between many topics in the book and the situations faced by our members daily is uncanny. I felt that the author was speaking directly to many of our problems.

There were areas covered in the book that covered industries unfamiliar to me but I still found reading about the issues of other workers to be an interesting learning experience. I will be recommending this book to my membership. This is an excellent book for both employers and employees to gain insight into this frightening and escalating phenomenon. The author explores many aspects of work rage including identifying possible perpetrators, causes, prevention and more. I consider this book to be a valuable contribution to my library.
