When I bought the Work Sharp knife sharpener, I was concerned about breaking sanding belts and leaving me without extras. After sharpening all the knives I have (a bunch), I only messed up one by sharpening a gut hook in the wrong manner. The belts are sturdy and I haven't needed to open the replacement package yet. These are tough, variable grits, and work like a charm!

The sharpener does an excellent job with all types of knives and scissors. Very pleased with the results it produces.

I bought this as a gift for my 92 year old father. His very first job was as a butcher. He always had a great knack for sharpening knives with a diamond stone and steel. At his age he wanted something easier and less time consuming. He absoultely loves the work sharp. Just a few passes and knives are razor sharp. Believe me, he is very fussy about most anything. If he says this is a great item, it is !!

The Work Sharp knife sharpening system is the best and easiest knife sharpener I have ever tried.My only concern was how long the belts would last.They hold up well and at this price and ease of changing this is no issue at all.

I have tried several sharpening tools and methods with mixed results, but this tool is best and easiest sharpener yet. Just take your time and use the belts in sequence. Every method of sharpening creates a slightly different angle so you need to give this tool a chance to create it's own edge profile. After that, resharpening is quick and provides a very keen edge.

I've used several different sharpeners, but this one out performs them all. I've actually sharpened mine, my mom's, and my mother-in-laws knives and have not had to change the belts out yet.

Highly recommend if you have a lot of knifes or blades of any kind to sharpen. I had about 10 knifes including pocket and kitchen style to sharpen. I noticed the belts started "smoothing out" losing their grit. I do think they do a great job, fast and easy to use.

I had been looking for a good convex sharpener for a few years, and had been using sandpaper and mousepads (takes forever). A convex edge is stronger, as it provides more support to the cutting edge. This little gadget is awesome! The belts last longer than I'd expected, and it sharpens quickly.

Amazon has the best price for these that i've been able to find.

I first seen the sharpener in a bass pro book and look here and found it much cheaper. To my suprise the extra belts I have not used and have sharpend more that 50 knifes

The WSKTS is the easiest and fastest knife sharpener hands down. Makes a razor sharp edge that holds its edge. Amazing how fast and sharp it gets all of your knives. The video blogs are all true and accurate.
