As a woodworker and a carver, I need to keep my tools sharp without taking a long time to do it. These honing abrasives replace my originals that had lasted almost a year of regular use. The system really works.

I love my Work Sharp 3000 and work all my blades and tools with it. I'm not sure that it is all that difficult to create finer grits but for two pieces of sandpaper they sure charge quite a bit. The finer grits also tear up more easily, catching, ripping, and ruining its usefullness. If they doubled the amount included I would rate this at five stars but these days value rules.

Razor Sharp with this Honing Kit,

They seem expensive, but they are long lasting and take your chisels and plane irons to the zenith of sharpness. I've never been able to achieve this type of razor edge with all my water stones and diamond sharpeners. And it's easy and very fast, too.
