Editorial Reviews

"It's time to get back to work for coworkers and roommates, "Adam," "Blake" and "Ders," but that also means partying harder than ever before. Comedy Central's hit, scripted series Workaholics Season 4 is back with all new super fresh episodes. They do their jobs and sometimes they even do them well, but they show up late, leave drunk and always live for the day.even if they don't know what day it is. Whether they're hanging out at their house in Rancho Cucamonga or getting ready to rage at a Renaissance Faire, the guys find trouble wherever they go. "

Extreme nonsense, delivered perfectly as always. Our three heroes take us on another chaotic journey, filled with the usual drugs, toilet humor, sexual exploration and extreme idiocy. The most obvious change this season is the increased involvement of the supporting cast, Montez, Alice, Jetset and Jillian all have an larger presence in these episodes but it takes nothing away from the hilarity. The only let down really was the absence of the usual DVD extra 'Drunkomentary', which I can only guess is due to time constraints or possibly pure laziness. This season is a fabulous addition to the Workaholics and I can say this show going stale is a long way off.

These guys get me and my sense of humor. Episode 2 of Season 4 is one of the strongest episodes of the entire series, seriously! The guys hire a male stripper named Girthquake to sleep with their boss Alice so she'll be in a better mood and let them have a fish fry for all of Blake's dead koi fish friends. Now that's how you "get weird". If the first 2 episodes of this season are any indication of what's to come, this may very well be the strongest season yet. They've really pushed the boundaries on what they can get away with showing on tv, a face full of amniotic fluid and Adam and Der's Koi fish barf battle had me rollin'. Any fan of the show is going to love this season so far. FULLY APPROVED.

Husband is a working attorney and I am a stay-at-home mother, and while we are usually very adult-like, we enjoy channeling our immaturity through these amazing episodes. Thank you Workaholics for bringing joy to our evenings! Hilarious!

One if the funniest shows on television right now! I own all four seasons on blu ray and highly recommend this series to comedy fans.

Some think this may be the weakest season of the four, but it's still a side-busting good time (keep in mind that the previous three season were absolute gold). If you're a fan of the show, you will not be disappointed!

The audio and video are very solid as well. No complaints there.

Don't be loose bu**-hole; buy this season, you peasant.

I really like the cast for this show, they are comedically talented, interesting, and endearing. I initially connected with the storyline but now find it obnoxiously over the top. There are still funny moments but it is taken way too far. This show was great for it's first season but, now I can't relate. There is talent but, it has become a parody of itself. I hope the writers, producers, cast, and crew can once again be a voyeuristic peephole into slacker misfit culture. This show could be great, there is a great premise.

While I can’t claim that I hold a deep love for Comedy Central’s Workaholics, I can’t deny that every now and then the series hits enough of the right notes that I laugh out loud. At the same time, there are just as many episodes in a given season that leave me disappointed and remind me why I don’t tune in on a regular basis. Workaholics clearly has talent in its main trio of Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, and Anders Holm, but it’s unevenly applied from one episode to the next, and consequently we get seasons of Workaholics that have you laughing until it hurts one second and then wondering where the sharp writing went the next. When Workaholics is on-target, however, it’s dead-on, and so moments like an absurdly bloody rat hunt or an over-the-top frat guy actually succeed in making you wince even as you bust a gut.

The ridiculous adventures of Workaholics continue in the fourth season with Blake, Anders, and Adam pulling a snack heist, temporarily breaking up, throwing a baby shower rave, attempting a penis transplant, becoming party clowns, and stealing beer in a Jacuzzi. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, or, more accurately, about half of it, but it also gives a fair look at both episodes that do and don’t really work. On the extreme ends of the spectrum, you have an episode that ends in a fish fight in a pool that doesn’t really flow and instead just plays out like the writers had a bunch of ideas and then tied them loosely together just to make the 22-minute runtime for an episode. The story doesn’t flow at all, and the comedy smacks of desperation. The same can be said of episodes where the guys try to get the attention of a scam exposing TV show and where they open the taco/weed restaurant.

I'm a 44 year-old woman with a graduate degree who should know better. But these guys make me giggle, and they're all so unique in their own way. I like the episodes where there are more of the supporting players in the plot, and some episodes I skip because they're just gross-out, silly college dude story lines. But the ones that aren't so obvious or gross out? Really friggin' funny. Congrats, boys.

Purely Delightful memories! Those words are what come to mind as I sit down to write this review of Workaholics Season 4. The fact is that I was lying in my bed at 2AM the night before the start of a week of customer meetings and professional events away from home. I decided to watch just one episode, because if history was any indicator, I was not going to sleep well anyway on this fateful night. 2 and a half episodes later I forced myself to close my eyes in a half-hearted effort to find sleep. The next 3 nights in my hotel room I indulged my legendary sense of humor and used Workaholics Season 4 to entertain myself as I ate over priced room service burgers and went to bed later and later each night. Now, I know for a fact that many others on the trip drank in excess, some cheated on their wives, and a small few even attempted to do their day job while in the comfort of a hotel room hundreds of miles away from home. How they all would envy me if they only knew the truth of it all...
