About the Author

Wilburta (Billie) Q. Lindh, CMA holds professor emerita status at Highline Community College, Des Moines, Washington. She is the former program director and consultant to the Medical Assistant Program at Highline Community College and was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Member of the year 2000. Lindh is a member of the SeaTac Chapter of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) and has lectured at AAMA seminars and conducted in-service workshops on various topics throughout the country. She is coauthor of Thomson Delmar Learning¿s Comprehensive Medical Assisting Administrative and Clinical Competencies. She also coauathored The Radiology Word Book and The Ophthalmology Word Book, texts frequently used by transcriptionists, and is the medical assistant chapter author for Guide to Careers in the Health Professions.

This is a good book full of lot's of information from proper letter writing to laboratory procedures and medical abbreviations. I used this book along with the textbook in school for the medical assistant program.

I was happy with the transaction my book came before my next class started but the only thing was it was missing some pages that I needed but that was ok atleast I had most of them so far haven't found any other missing ones other than that the book was in good condition
