A collection of short stories -- by and about lowly, cube-dwelling office workers -- is definitely an idea who's time has come. From the publisher of the fiction quarterly THE FIRST LINE, this anthology features eleven stories (yes, I'm an author of one of them) exploring the peculiar existences of employees penned in by four-foot walls and convoluted corporate policies. A good read for anybody who's ever spent 9-to-5 under the fluorescent lights.

The stories in the anthology are:

"Meet Mr. Mandrake" by Adam Connors

"Inboxed" by Matt McHugh

"Cubed" by B.A. Goodjohn

"Conversion" by Greg Paulos

"Four Work-Related Letters" by Geoff Herbach

"A Tempting Office" by David Lignell

"Waterworks" by Lowell Mick White

"Cubicles from this Angle" by Charles Conley

"The New Guy Starts Wednesday" by Tom Green

"Dymaxion Inc." by James Grinwis

"Down the Rabbit Hall" by Dawn Preston

A delightful book full of quick-paced, entertaining stories. A must-have for the beach or while commuting.

The best stories in this book (IMHO) are: "The New Guy Starts Wednesday" by Tom Green and "A Tempting Office" by David Lignell.

A MUST READ at a great price!
