Book written by the expert in the working spaniel world, very informative on the general view, ideas regarding training.But it is not a how to book with step 1 bla bla bla, step 2... However I consider it as a absolute basic book for the cocker and spaniel handler.

Big thanks to Aphrohead_books_uk for their prompt international despatch . Book was very well packaged . Well punters .... I hope you like reading because this "how to" book is light on the pictures & heavy on the info . Which makes for just the sort of book that we are looking for . If you want pictures then buy a calander . Some of the info is a little regionally based , but those of us further afield than that can be an adaptive lot . Probably what I got most use from is that after a careful read & taking into account my own situation , a springer is not for me . Which made the book outstanding value . It means that I don't spend 10 years with a dog that was not right for me to begin with ... & that would not be fair to either of us
