A Must Read for New Teachers
As a new teacher that still has not found her first job, I really liked this book. It gives me great ideas to use if the economy ever turns around and teaching jobs are available again. I really liked the idea about having a Mr./Ms. No Name Box for papers without names...lol.

Useful for setting up classroom
I had to get this one for a class but I found it to be helpful. I wish I had it prior to the school year and will definitely use the suggestions to create the classroom environment in the Fall. Geared more towards the beginning teacher who is getting feet wet and still setting things up, but a veteran teacher may benefit from some of the suggestions as well.

I really loved this book. It was very specific. It broke up the ages of the students and how to deal with each age group. Ruby Payne's book is an easy read and very helpful.

This book tries to cover too many bases...K-12. It has the most basic information and is really only suitable for people that are just getting ready to teach. I had to read it for a Grad Class. My thought was "Really? You have people with years of teaching experience reading this book?" For newbies only!

The book itself was incredibly repetetive and not very helpful, although my prof. claimed it would be invaluable to be as a teacher. However, the service was great, I got my book sooner than I thought I would and it was brand new.
