5.0 out of 5 stars There is much more to this book than the title, January 18, 2009
This review is from: Working With the Wool: How to Weave a Navajo Rug (Paperback)
"Navaho Weaving is an organic craft. The tools are basic, the process rhythmic, and the whole weaver-loom relationship a very natural one."

This book has systematic instructions on what materials are needed to build a loom from scratch, Then instructions on how to set it up, Then instructions on beginning weaving, Then how to design the Navaho way. Then how to adjust for whatever may go wrong.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Surprise Find, November 2, 2008
This review is from: Working With the Wool: How to Weave a Navajo Rug (Paperback)
I learned of this book in the material that came with the used loom I purchased. There was a magazine with an article about this book. I never thought I would be able to find it at all let alone find a copy for myself and my teacher.

What a wonderful book for both the information, the history and the tradition of Navajo weaving.
