If you do firearm disassembly and reassembly, there dissamembly away from the fact that you'll encounter pins of various sorts that have to be removed and reinstalled. Knowing which style of punch to use for the removal and reinstallation of a given pin will help the task go smoothly and help to prevent damage to both the pin and the area surrounding it. In this feature, I'll go over the various styles of pin punches that you can purchase, as well as a few special-purpose punches that you can easily make yourself.
