The good:

* The case surrounds the player, which makes it fit very snugly to your arm from top to bottom. I've always been hesitant to try more minimal armbands because I have this assumption that--anchored only in the center--the player would flop around a bit.

* The neoprene also provides a very snug fit.

* The plastic screen protector has a cut-out for the click wheel, which allows for easy navigation while wearing.

* This is well-suited for larger upper arms. Another reviewer noted that slim female arms are lost in this, and I agree. But for those of more ample proportions, it is a comfortable, non-binding fit.

* The price, obviously.

The bad:

* The hole for the ear bud cord is not positioned quite right, and has loose threads. This is due to the logistics of, well, poking a hole through neoprene. It's livable, but annoying.

* The "hook" part of the Velcro was cut too wide and extends beyond the part of the band with the "loop" strips. This has led to scratches and chafing, and I cannot use this product without a buffer fabric (longer sleeves, or often a handkerchief folded and used to pad that area.

Get an ipod arm band for under $2. Only problem is that what they send isn't what they show you. This seller is obviously trying to deceive us. This product seems to be an ipod classic/video arm band, but that is about all that is true from the photos and description. The product I received has a rigid nylon arm band with a mesh backing. It is not the neoprene pictured, and has no stretch to it. If you are like me, and your arms are not solid wooden poles, you need some give in the arm band to keep the device in place. The only neoprene I can find is directly behind the ipod, lining the pocket, the rest is resin backed (waterproof) nylon. Since the item is essentially a throw away (it will cost more to ship back than it is worth) the seller is obviously trying to profit from Amazon customers through shipping and handling fees on bogus products. I ordered this an another product form the same seller, and was shipped two identical products, neither of which were what was pictured or described. Avoid this Seller and this product, it is a scam!

I am an average-sized woman, so when I got this arm band and it was too big for me I was very surprised. True, it is adjustable, however it slides down my arm when I am running, and I can't wrap the band any tighter. I really thought it would work based on other reviews, but it is just too big. I put the band over a wrist pad on my arm and that works. For the price I am fine with that solution.

The quality is also just fine. It looks like the hole where the ear phones plug in was just punched in the fabric. There are threads showing and tangling around that point.

I really liked this product but the only downsize to it was that my arm was a bit too skinny for it and so it fits a bit loose. Other than that it is pretty good. It was very cheap and does not look cheap, my ipod classic fits good into it and i will still use it just have to figure out how to fix my problem which i don't blame the product for. My upper arm measures about 10 1/2 inches around.

I have been using this for a couple weeks and so far so good! The only flaw is that it's hard to adjust the thumb pad. I find that I have to take my ipod out of the arm band to scroll or change the volume. Worth the tiny sum! Buy it!

I've only had this armband a few weeks and the velcro is already coming off! I am going to try to get a refund.

This arm band works and is quite functional. at first it was really nice but after a week im having to resow the stitching...its just falling apart. the price of this band is cheap but pay a bit more and you will have a longer lasting band.

It's adjustable and quite fit with my arms, quite comfortable compare to those plastic armbands. It holds tightly even when I was doing different exercises.

My experience so far was good~

This ipod arm band is very nice, very useful when exercising. I have to take my hard shell off my ipod to fit inside the cover, but other than that it is very useful
