The Path to Spiritual Growth and Service,
By Katrina Ure (Santa Monica, CA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness (Paperback)
"Workout For The Soul" is a rare book in that it combines teaching us how to develop ourselves with showing us how to be of service to others. Other self-development books concentrate only on the self. Chrissie Blaze shows us how in 15 minutes a day we can develop ourselves so much that we can become powerful lights in our dark world, as well as attaining great fulfilment and abilities for ourselves. It is clear that Chrissie Blaze has had access to one of the greatest Masters of all times - the knowledge and insights are extremely profound and not found elsewhere. Chrissie blends her own warmth, compassion and understanding with the metaphysical knowledge to make for a wonderful book.

New idea that really works,
By A Customer
This review is from: Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness (Paperback)
I was really surprised at how excellent this book was. I have studied metaphysics and spiritual subjects for some years and it was obvious to me that the author is very well grounded in her subjects. She trained with a yoga Master for years and I could tell that she hadn't just read about her subjects but that she really knew about them, first hand. The book is well written, it is easy to read and draws you in. It is very practical and there are plenty of exercises with diagrams. I tried a couple right away and felt effects from them.

I recommend this book as a way to get fit spiritually. It is in 8 parts and I followed through and did all 8 sections and found I was getting amazing results. I feel completely different. I could feel energy flowing through me and felt more vitality. Also I tried the section on healing and could actually feel healing flowing. I tried it on my daughter and was able to cure her headache almost instantly. It really is a good book, broken down into simple parts and then you can use all the parts together and it takes me only about 10-15 minutes a day. It really has made a difference to me and I really feel as if I know where I am going now. I feel more purposefull, and certainly more intuitive and decisive. It is very good and I am recommending it to all my friends.

A Spiritual Feast!,
By Gareth (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness (Paperback)
What a wonderful book! I had received this book as a gift, and quite frankly I didn't know what to expect. I have been searching for a long time for something which resonated on a 'heart level' with me, and this is it! It has it all, easily understandable philosophy and chock full of powerful practices, all explained so that they are easily understood...AND are within the capacity of virtually everyone. I have read many books on Yoga, but found the Chrissie's explanation of the cornerstone to good mental, physical, and Spiritual health, the 'complete breath' to be the best that I have ever seen! With a background in chi-kung, I was also happy to see that she has included two very powerful chi-kung meditations in the book, 'the Sunbeam and Moonbeam Practices' She also covers, Mystic Visualization theory and practice, Yogic Prayer, the secret behind Mantra and more.., She also gives a wonderful Distant Healing Practice, which I am pleased to say, I have used with VERY GOOD results. If you're looking for a place to start, this is it, if you are a veteran of the Spiritual Path, you will learn as well. I'm the kind of person who wants to 'do something' with my life, not just endlessly be entertained by the latest and greatest. This is where I felt WFTS really shines, it is designed to be a SPIRITUAL WORKBOOK, not just another read and shelf book. Do yourself a favor, buy it, and USE it, and I don't thing you'll ever regret it.

Very useful workbook,

This book is very thorough and well thought out, with line drawings and other aids to learning. The author is obviously very knowledeable about her subject and explains things simply and in a way that really makes sense. I have done meditation, yoga and other practices for many years but I love the fact that this book presents a mind-body-spirit program that is balanced and effective and, even better, you can do it in about 10 minutes. I have felt more effects with this program than when I do meditation for an hour or me. Also, I love that part of the program is designed to help you help others. I really believe that is important.

A perfect guide for our spiritual evolution.,
By Jean-Pierre Aubry (Los Angeles) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness (Paperback)
There are too many unhappy people in our society. While we have been able to satisfy many of our needs for food, protection, property, and security, we seem to have lost spiritual richness. We cannot fill our inner emptiness by external prosperity. Therefore this book "Workout for the soul" is a perfect guide for our spiritual evolution and feed our souls. It is clear, concised, writteen with a deep knowledge of the occult laws. GREAT BOOK

A transformative book,
By A Customer
This review is from: Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness (Paperback)
I was surprised at the depth of metaphysical information contained in this book. The author trained with one of the genuine 'Masters' of yoga: an enlightened one, and it shows. I started doing the practices in here and could feel the energy flowing through me almost instantly. I would highly recommend it. It has a fascinating section on prayer which goes beyond the normal concept of the subject. I have studied many books like this for many years but found this book to be head and shoulders above the vast majority.

I was surprised to find that the content of this book is head and shoulders above many other books out there on similar subjects. The author trained with a genuine "Master"; an enlightened one, and it shows. I started to do the practices and almost immediately felt energy flowing through me. The section on prayer is particularly fascinating. This is quite a unique book and one I would recommend to genuine seekers.

Making Time for Spiritual Work,
By Barbara (CT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness (Paperback)
This book is clearly written and simple to use. Just reading through the step-by-step program helped me to see how easy it is to make time daily for myself to do a spiritual practice. I also liked her explanation of some practices which were new to me and yet easy to do. I believe Chrissie Blaze is knowledgabale and caring and her book is a good addition to my spiritual reference library. Her practices can work for any faith.

Your body is your temple; how you choose to honor it could be the difference of living a rewarding life or a life filled with much despair. Exercise is an essential element to our overall well being. What we often forget to add to our daily ritual is the spiritual side of our existence.

In Chrissie Blaze's Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness you will find a program designed to be achieved in as little as 15 minutes a day.
