The high-efficiency design allows the HFWSST to operate on as little as five watts of power, but it isn't sheepish -- this speaker can handle the heft of a wide range of home theater and stereo receivers (up to 80 watts). The speaker delivers high tones through dual 0.625-inch polycarbonate tweeters. The 5.25-inch subwoofer features a black polypropylene cone with a rubber surround seal that delivers deep, bumpin' bass tones. This pair of outdoor speakers are built to look just like ordinary garden planters and deliver outstanding sound that you and your guests will hear, but not see.
The 30036 HFWSST is a pair planter speakers that includes 50 feet of burial cable that is the perfect choice for running wire to outdoor speakers for complete home-yard audio. This 16-gauge wire bundle includes all four conductors you need to power a pair of speakers. The HFWBC50 features extra-thick skin to protect the buried cable from the elements. Each piece of wire is color-coded and each conductor is composed of 19 strands of oxygen-free standard copper. The wire is UL listed for safety and CL-3 rated.
