The kids had a wonderful time painting their birdfeeder. The most unfortunate and most important part is the birds can't eat from the feeder, there is not enough room for their tiny feet to stand ont he feeder.

At the cost paid for this.......it was really not worth it.

My son made this for his grandparents 2 yrs. ago and it still hangs outside and looks great. They have watched birds come eat at it for years and it has been very exciting for my son to see his gift last. They live on a nature preserve so the birds are around all year long and it even holds up in the winter. Love that it is easy to make and they can do it on their own. He was 5 when he gave it to them.
