Truly amazing contemporary music, October 28, 2003

Having seen Mr. Bresnick speak about his music before I heard it, I admit I have sort of an "in" about the pieces I heard before I heard them. Having said that, I still believe that even if I hadn't had my curiosity peaked I still would feel the way I do about this music. For myself, I think it's brilliant and inspired. In particular the pieces "Be Just", "The Bucket Rider" and "Bird as Prophet".
