I bought this for my niece for her 7th birthday. She really enjoyed this present and had a great time painting and decorating the box. It would have been nice if there was more paint though.

Here is a super crafts kit that will let your child's sense of self-expression and creativity flourish. The finished product, a really lovely personalized wooden box that you can enhance with paints, jewels, photos or other decorations is awesome. There is a guide to painting that is included, along with stencil AND a glow-in-the-dark finish to make it even more special.This is a purchase that has value as a learning tool to stimulate artistic abilities and manual dexterity, but also as an item that can be personalized for another recipient. Your child can feel the pride of giving some special teacher or family member something that she made, herself, with them in mind! This kit is an absolute winner with one caveat. Be careful to use the paints sparingly. With another kit in this series, we began to run short. Of course, you can always purchase additional paints at a crafts store, but you shouldn't have to do this if you work carefully. Younger children may require some adult guidance! This is a fabulous fun toy with great educational value and a great way to express yourself!. |
