RZA DOIN HIS THING THING! MUCH LOVE!,
By
This review is from: World According to RZA (Audio CD)
what rza did with this cd is great. he went around the world and found rappers and singers to make music with and put out an album that is bangin from start to finish. ghostface makes an appearance as well, but the real star is rza himself. how this guy makes so much good music so often and so consistently really makes me proud to have spent so long bumping the WU TANG BANGERS!all of them wu tang individs, wu syndicate, THE GRAVEDIGGAZ (PEEP THE GRAVEDIGGAZ IF YOU DONT KNOW),mathematics, popa wu, killah priest, buddha monk, just to name a few...anyway this cd is definately five star material, rza gets respect from every corner of the globe and all the foreign stars on this cd are dope. oh yeah one thing you should know is that not all the foreign rappers speak in english, but who gives a what, it's about rhythm.PEACE

Nice, Very nice.,

I have listened to this album now for the fourth time today. It has those beats that beg you to listen to them over and over again. It has a fresh, almost psycadelic atmosphere to it. Rza must have been in a good frame of mind when he created these beats. This is vintage RZA minus the Bobby persona with strong lyrics. The MCS he lines up here are very good and are prefect for RZAs production. I don't know about five stars because that is saved for CLASSIC albums, and this isn't quite classic YET. I'll wait 10 years then listen to it. Overall nice, classic rza beats with cool, breezy lyrics.

This CD is a tour de force of rap. Anyone hip-hop fan should have this CD hands down. Its at the same level as Outkast as far as I'm concerned. The world element transcends language and proves it to be the best album I've heard in a long time.

This album came out in 2003-but still good music. RZA collaborates with some of the world's most talented MCees from Sweeden, Germany, Norway, Africa, France, Strasbourg, Berlin to branch out more of the ever-expanding Wu-Tang universe. Bangin' beats and all kinds of foreign languages to decipher. Some of my favorite trax are "Mesmerize", "On tha Ground", "The North Sea", "I've Never Seen", and "Seul Face A Lui."-check it out!

RZA brings his superior Ecclectic Beats and uses them to show us what is going on in the international music front. His musical insight on this album shows off, as well as his production prowess. There is no doubt that this is a 4-5 star album and should be in any music enthusiasts collection. If you dont have this album you are musically deprived...

This should've been better, but it often sounds like Rza is using his "throwaway" beats for this go 'round. It might be a cool purchase if to show off to your friends since it's an import, but you won't get much enjoyment out of it.

RZA WORLD WIDE,

This review is from: World According to RZA (Audio CD)
This CD just goes to prove that Wu and RZA is major in Europe. I loved the colabs he had w/ the euro rappers. NICE CD. Xaiver Naidoo makes the CD unique to RZA. RZA brings it to a slower grove, that track w/ Naidoo is FIRE. USA should listen to this.
