This is a great reference for kids, it is really up to date and it really helps for history and social homework. My kid has bought all of the World Almanac's For kids since 2000, and she loves this new one. Since she is really interested in astrology and astronomy, this is the perfect ref. book for her, and the whole book is easy for kids to understand, there is hardly any hard vocabulary, even if there is, they would explain the word like a dictionary. I really recommend this Almanac for your kids, I guarentee they'll find it interesting!

I ordered this book for my 11-year-old daughter and when I received it, I had to flip through the whole thing immediately! It is colorful and fun, while educating the reader on important facts!! I came back to Amazon.com to order another one for a Christmas gift!!

I've purchased this book for my daughters every year, and they absolutely love it, and I love the fact that they learning and exploring as they're having hours of fun. This year I had to buy two copies, so they could each have one. If you could only buy one book for your kids this year, I would recommend The World Almanac for Kids.
