Enhanced with the inclusion of free Cut-Out Mini Posters, "The World Almanac For Kids 2007" is a compendium of jokes, puzzles, 'infobits', and in this new edition there are chapters devoted to Magic and to Volunteering. Replete with stories and photos about celebrities of special interest to kids, stories about kids from cultures and countries around the world, and the kinds of almanac information that is useful to kids when doing their school work and writing papers for their classes. Profusely illustrated, reliably informative, and a whole lot of fun just to browse through, "The World Almanac For Kids 2007" is strongly recommended for family, community, and school library collections.

Great Book, Cool Facts!, November 13, 2006
This review is from: The World Almanac for Kids 2007 (Paperback)
My 13 year old has loved these books for years now. Fun and informative, they are chocked full of great facts like "A Short History of Tall Buildings" and "News of the Year". There are puzzles, lists of just about every category you can think of and fact sections. Very colorful, easy to read and has a lot of great pictures. It's definately not the old boring almanacs we used to read!

Great way to pick up trivia knowledge., January 8, 2007
This review is from: The World Almanac for Kids 2007 (Paperback)
This was purchased as a gift for my 8 year old daughter. She is reading it from cover to cover, and quizzing our family on what she's reading. Lots of great photographs, and a wide variety of topics. More interesting for a young reader that the Guiness World Record books.
