For whatever reason, our grandsons, now 10 and 13, have always gotten a buzz from reading almanacs, and the versions published for kids provide the right blend of illustrations, age-appropriate verbiage and interest factor.

We have developed a kind of Trivial Pursuit Q&A game from the book and use it as a good winding down game at the end of the day when the boys stay with us ("Okay, where's the tallest building in the world?").

This is the second of these books we have purchased and we heartily endorse them.
