BORDERLINE World Edition is a card game consisting of 70 cards that teaches world geography in a fun and interesting way. Play is similar to Crazy Eights, and the object of the game is to get rid of all your cards first. As a player plays a card, representing a country or other major geographic feature, other players try to match its borders with cards from their hand. You can try bluffing (claiming that your card matches when you know it doesn't!), but you might get challenged and have to take them both back. Because each card contains a map, it doesn't matter what knowledge level you start with - as you play, you learn. 2-4 players, ages 8 and up.

The whole point of this game is to learn the countries and major geographical features, as advertised. Last time I looked, "South America" is not a country, nor is "The Middle East." I got these cards thinking I'd be able to learn where Jordan is, where Chad is, where Togo is. You know, actual countries. As it is, this product is useless to me.

This game is an entertaining way to get an overview of large landmasses, bodies of water and other geographical features- includes details such as the equator and international dateline, as well. Their other editions are the ones to buy for learning the countries of Africa, Europe and the Middle East, etc. in the same fun and easy format.
