This had been our family's favorite dutch oven cookbook and then tragedy hit, something spilled while driving back from a camping trip and the book was ruined. We kept the book with the pages stuck together just so we could make sure we got the same book again. We had others but most of them seemed to be too basic and lacked the variety of dishes. I go with the philosophy of "the camper that eats the best...wins!" and this cookbook delivers. We have had a lot of fun with it over the years and look forward to replacing it. We learned dutch oven cooking on this cook book and it is just as good for the beginner as the expert. If you want to eat well on your next camping trip this is the book for you.

I have several Dutch Oven cookbooks and am happy to include this one in my collection. Although it is not as extensive as some, that is its only drawback. It has a well rounded variety of recipes for anyone who is just learning the art of dutch oven cooking or for those with years of experience. It is always a pleasure to learn new recipes for use either while camping, or even in my own backyard. Readers will find this book extremely helpful.

some things I would never have thought possible coming out of a Dutch Oven / camp oven. (the ones with feet are camp ovens)

here's the recipes that i use out of this great little book,dutch oven fantasy chicken a sweet and sour recipe perfect!stuffed pepper steak, bbq chicken, cheesy potato wedges, dutch oven steak dinner, there's a few pages on the pot sizes and heat control with briquettes. this a great little book well worth it just for the sweet and sour chicken recipe.

I am very pleased with the World Championship Dutch Oven Cookbook. It explained all proceedures in detail and was very complete. Many wonderful campfire recipes and is sure to be a hit at the campfire.

A good book for newbies to the Dutch Oven type of cooking. A large variety of recipes; there's something for everyone.
